Dads vision is starting to slightly clear up. He drank some juice, and had some jello, and has kept them down so far. The real test will be moving for his radiation treatment this afternoon. They say he may be able to go home Thursday if he doesn't get sick again, but dad seems apprehensive. If rolling through the hospital makes him sick I can't imagine what driving in from Advance each day would feel like.
He has a really good nurse today that seems to be proactively treating his nausea and discomfort.
Continued prayers are much appreciated. As much as dad would like to see people and thank you for your concern, his biggest need is rest.
Your dad continues to be an inspiration to me. He has had a positive attitude throughout this journey. Reading yesterday's post that his concern is for the salvation of his friends at this point is a wonderful testimony of his relationship with our Lord. I pray that his nausea stays in check and he will feel well enough to go home. We will pray specifically that he will endure the travel back and forth for radiation without any ill effects. Jason and I would love to visit, but I know he needs his rest. Please give him our love. Laura and Jason
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that the Lord sent him such a good nurse. We also will pray that he is able to go home and that the trips will not make him sick. I would love to see him, but I also know that he needs to rest. Please send my love to both Him and Elanor. Thanks so much for the updates.
