David shared this with me this morning.
"This is how we started the morning today:
Dad: I know God never makes a mistake, but what is going on?
Me: Are you trying to ask why are you still here?
Dad: Yes, you figured that out quick.
Me: I don’t have a good answer. Some would say its bc you are stubborn, but I don’t believe that. Its just not your time yet, but we’re getting there."
Dad later asked what he is doing wrong. He says he is not frustrated, just ready to go.
We can hardly blame him for wanting to go home. He and we have no idea how glorious it will be. He knows he's close so of course he's anxious. He and all of you continue to be a great testimony to me and everyone else too.
ReplyDeleteJust checking in. Jim's words have touched my soul, and I am sure everyone elses. I look forward to meeting you in heaven, dear friend. The Lord knows when the time is right---remember--- May I want what God wants. Sometimes this is not an easy thing to do. The Lord is giving you a few more precious moments with your family. He is waiting for you with open arms.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me visit with Jim yesterday. Maybe that's just one more part to God's plan - making sure everyone who needed to see Jim has a chance to? You guys ARE an inspiration to us all. God bless you all!
